Children’s Science Camp 2013

[:]

The Center for the Promotion of Science offers kids to take part at the DNA Children’s Science Camp in Viminacium. The idea behind the DNA Children’s Science Camp is that kids get the possibility to learn about sciences such as archeology, anthropology, paleontology, biology, physics, chemistry, meteorology, astrology and psychology in an interactive and interesting way.

The programm at the Camp lasts three days, from Thursday to Saturday. This summer, it has been organized in four different sessions: from July 18 to 20, from July 25 to 27, from August 1 to 3 and from August 8 to 10. The number of participants of each group is limited to 12 kids. The groups are small, so all the participants can get the needed individual attention from the professional educators and animators.

Although science camps provide children with relaxation and the pleasure of working with their peers in nature, the DNA rules are strictly defined, since the health and the safety of the children are the main priority for the organizers. At the camp, experts will be present at all times in case of any kind of emergency, so they can provide immediate medical assistance.

Viminacium is an ancient Roman city and military camp. It includes not only archeological sites from the Roman times but also paleontological sites with mammoths. Nearby, there are power plants, open mines and the Danube River, which will enable camp participants to see and feel the past and the future at the same time.

Viminacium offers modern accommodation facilitates so the kids will have quality accommodation and meals during the camp.

The Center for the Promotion of Science invites parents to choose this unique opportunity at a reasonably affordable price and to register their children for the DNA Camp. Registration will be ongoing until the required number of children is reached.
