”Sveti Sava” Gymnasium students successfully organized the sixth annual festival of science and art- ”Gimfest”.

The festival took place on March 2, from 11am-7pm, and the exhibition was free, so, everyone interested in learning more about science and art was able to attend.

CPN presented its portable planetarium, which allowed more than 250 students from Požega to get acquainted with some of the most interesting astronomic phenomena, such as stars and planets, and uncover some of the deepest space secrets.

This year’s festival featured more than 200 science demonstrators on more than 30 stands. Besides hosting its local guests from ”SOKO” (the Extreme Sports Club), the festival welcomed guests from CPN, students from the Faculty of Physical Chemistry and the Junior Achievement in Serbia program.

”Gimfest” is a science and art festival, organized by ”Sveti Sava” Gymnazium from Požega. It was first initiated in 2009, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the European Movement in Serbia, and its aim is to promote science and art. The very first ”Gimfest” was held on March 1, in 2009, and it marked the attendance of more than 600 people.
