After the terrible floods that affected Obrenovac, in May this year, CPN launched the event ”Summer in Obrenovac”. The idea of the event is to present the interactive scientific program to the people of Obrenovac [:]
The event was held at the Cultural Center of Obrenovac, from August 9 to 13, and on the last day CPN presented some of the most interesting scientific phenomena and the experiments across the town.
The ”busking“ started at 11am, at the Town Square, where the science demonstrators spent two hours explaining different experiments to the passers-by.
The interactive program mainly attracted the younger audience, but older citizens as well, eager to uncover some of the most interesting secrets of science.
The idea behind the Festival was to engage the people from Obrenovac who are unable to afford a vacation due to the floods that affected their town, in various cultural and musical activities. The festival also featured a movie program, theatre and dance shows.
