What does the TECHSIGHT support programme offer?
TECHSIGHT has developed a program that connects deep tech startups with key players in the innovation ecosystem – universities, investors, research institutes, and public institutions – across multiple European countries.
The programme is part of the TECHSIGHT project (2025–2027), funded by the EIT Higher Education Initiative under Horizon Europe, with the goal of positioning European universities as global leaders in deep tech innovation.
Through four interconnected pillars of support, startups will receive:
- Access to experts
Tailored support through direct consultations and curated resources, designed to help startups effectively tackle challenges and build a strong foundation for growth. - Learning through community
Online workshops, masterclasses, and training modules delivered in collaboration with universities and industry representatives. - Information and opportunities
Regular updates on open funding calls, competitions, events, and accelerator programmes across Europe. - Investment and market readiness
Support in preparing investor materials, pitch training, connections with VC funds, and opportunities for pilot collaborations with industry and the public sector.
When and how?
The programme lasts three months, starting in June, and is open to startups based in Europe. During this period, workshops and sessions will be held every two weeks.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for deep tech startups that:
– have a developed and validated prototype or solution (TRL 3–6);
– are actively working on both technology and business model development;
– are motivated to learn, grow, and engage in programme activities;
– are not yet fully market-ready, but have a clear development path and a committed team.

About the TECHSIGHT Project
The coordination mechanism programme is implemented within the TECHSIGHT project, funded through the EIT HEI Initiative, as part of EIT Culture & Creativity.
The project aims to empower European higher education institutions to become leaders in developing sustainable and inclusive deep tech innovations, strengthening capacities and fostering the creation of local and international innovation districts.
The consortium brings together 7 organisations across Europe, supported by a network of over 20 associated partners from academia, industry, and the public sector:

Support in developing investor materials, pitch preparation, connections with VC funds, and pilot collaborations with industry and public sector partners.
When and how?
The programme runs from 1 September 2025 to 9 December 2025 and is intended for start-ups based in Europe.
Eligible applicants should:
- Have developed and validated solutions (TRL 4–6)
- Be actively working on both their technology and business model
- Be motivated to learn, grow, and actively engage in the program
- Not be fully market-ready, but have a clear vision and a committed team
